Fall
This fall heralds elections for our 2007-2009 slate of officers, but there is a catch; we need a nominating committee to put that slate forward. In our newsletter I put out a plea for two individuals to fulfill this most critical need. Under our Constitution and By-Laws officers (myself included) cannot fill this role; indeed no one who wishes to be nominated can serve on the Nominations Committee. This year's task for the committee will actually be significatnly easier than in years past as many officers are willing to continue to serve or willing to serve in other offices.
Our society depends on all of our members to come through and now is one of those times. I would greatly appreciate anyone's service to help move this process forward and can provide you the information needed to get in touch with individuals who have already expressed an interest in serving as officers. If you would be willing to serve on the Nominating Committee please let me know, both our society and I will be greatly appreciative!
