Hills and Dales Estate, the Neel Reid designed home and Sarah Coleman Ferrell designed gardens of the Fuller E. Callaway Sr. family. A ticket for the home and gardens is $10, or just for the gardens is $6. See www.hillsanddalesestate.org.
Explorations in Antiquity Center, a living museum of life in ancient times. Through archaeological replicas, Biblical meal presentations, lectures and other personal experiences, ancient Middle Eastern life becomes real today. See www.explorationsinantiquity.com.
West Point Lake for boating and fishing. See www.westpointlake.info.
Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain has four distinctive gardens, the famous butterfly center, and a birds-of-prey show. Admission for adults is $13. See www.callawaygardens.com.
Little White House in Warm Springs was Franklin Delano Roosevelt's retreat for many years. Admission is $4-7. See www.gastateparks.org.
