
Become a Member of the Huguenot Society of Georgia...
Section 1. The membership of this Society shall be as follows:
Firstly, all descendants in the direct male or female lines of the Huguenot families which emigrated to America prior to the promulgation of the Edict of Toleration, November 28, 1787.
Secondly, representatives of other French families, whose profession of the Protestant Faith is anterior to the promulgation of the Edict of Toleration, November 28, 1787.
Thirdly, pastors of French Huguenot congregations in Georgia.
Fourthly, writers who have made the history, genealogy, principles, etc., of the Huguenots a special subject of study and research, to whatever nationality they may belong.
Section 2. The members of the Society may consist of three classes: Resident, Corresponding and Honorary; but the rights and privileges of each class shall be the same.
Section 3. The annual dues of members shall be set by the Executive Committee and are subject to change. All dues shall be paid in advance. |
